Shadowrun Adventure June 22, 1997

lollygagging in NAN

   As we last left you, a 4-by vehicle with four orks was seen
driving away from town. Seen by some astral-looking FATGOPians.
   So off like a wild head of motorized guppies goes FATGOP.
Down gravel roads at high speeds, the mage types go astral
from time to time, to try and keep a fix on the 4-by.
   Eventually the 4-by is lost. Everyone stops, and then astrally
its seen at a camp, as a crow flies, seven klicks away. Some 
scouting around eventually finds a bumpy track leading to this
ork camp. The group gets near, scouts it out, and eventually just
walks up and says "hello there!". A chat is had with the orks,
and they don't know much more than we do. Mernons River got weird
before everyone died. We agreed to keep in contact on a TACS channel
and left them. That night we camped somewhere out in the woods,
after Otto had to go back (astrally?) to Mernons River to scare
Chris the video-guy with "magic fingers".
    The next day FATGOP checks out Kirks Point. Turns out to be a
"no funny business" town where everyone carries a gun. They had seen
the weird, tree-hugger folks, but the weirdies stayed only a few hours.
Rabid stops for food.
    Three hours away, FATGOP then checks out Ministon. This town is
a little bigger. The weird folks had been there recently and held 
a rally. Rabid stops for food.(or is that later?) Not much info is gotten
from town-hall employees or local teens. Bullok squeezes into a small
restroom to 
change into his armor and leaves hornmarks on the walls.
    But a person is seen following us. Panther and Rabid attempt to 
approach the person with weak-invisibility. Otto claims he can see
them easily. They drop the invisibility and pretend they never tried it.
Rabid querys the person about the local restaurant. Finally the person
confesses to following us. He suspects us to be like the weird, tree-
huggers. When he believes we ain't them, he offers to lead us to where
they are hiding out. Yippie! Grunt watches Taylors body as she checks
out the area astrally.
    So.. until next week .. when FAT "easily sidetracked" GOP
attempts to stretch this misson to even *more* sessions...
